Senior Salesforce Consultant

Position Summary:

This person will serve as the central contact point for clients that are currently under engagement. This person should be able to provide the clients with strategic business direction and be able to execute tactics in Salesforce to help them achieve their goals. While this position is not specifically to develop new clients it is responsible for growing work with existing clients. This person must also be able to assist the sales team in scoping and closing business. They will be called on as the subject matter expert and must be able to quickly ascertain gaps in process and offer guidance. This person reports to the VP of Operations with a strong dotted line reporting relationship to the C.E.O.

Required Qualifications:

  • Four-year college degree (advanced degree preferred) in Business Consulting, Business Process Management, Management Information Systems or related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in a fast-paced consulting environment
  • Must be proficient in MS Office products including: MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access, Outlook and GotoMeeting or Webex
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Must have experience in leading business process reviews, creating action/implementation plans and directing/performing work to these plans
  • Must be Salesforce Certified Consultant with minimum of 2 years implementation experience
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment with attention to detail

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead business process reviews, create action plans, configure systems in accordance with plans and provide testing and training on these systems
  • Counsel clients on industry best practices and guide them to create
  • Lead multiple simultaneous Salesforce engagements
  • Develop new customers and expand work at existing clients
  • Achieve billable goals by managing self
  • Manage profitability of projects
  • Maintain customer satisfaction and create referenceable clients
  • Develop self through ongoing training and certifications
