Vice President of Operations
Position Summary:
The Vice President of Operations is an experienced professional services executive who has generated significant results through strategic and tactical management of a consulting practice. This person will direct and develop mid-level managers in the implementation of world-class cloud-based solution offerings. This person plans, organizes, directs and controls the activities and the operations function of the company. This person is responsible for the performance of all department functions, reports directly to the President/CEO and will serve as a member of the executive team.
Required Qualifications:
- 20 years of experience in a fast-paced consulting environment
- 5 years of management experience
- Communication Skills - Knows how to communicate on many different levels with all types of people. The ability to get a message across to the team and, most importantly to our customers, is an essential skill that will be put to the test each day. Using a wide array of communication vehicles, including verbal, written and body language techniques, will be needed to establish a rapport with each audience.
- Financial Analysis Skills - Directly responsible for contributing to Buan Consulting’s financial performance. A successful operations executive knows how to analyze sales projections and create expense budgets, and analyze profit & loss statements and balance sheets.
- Motivational Skills - Knows the importance of building a strong team and developing positive relationships among team members. This can be achieved by understanding and addressing the individual needs and concerns of the team with the help of the practice managers (builds strong morale through recognition programs like Star Award and other recognition programs, optimistic and focuses on the future growth of the company).
- Knows how to build trust and maintains a high level of integrity and transparency.
- Must be proficient in popular office products, including: MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Email, GotoMeeting or Webex, Salesforce.com, etc.

- Assist practice managers with assigning resources for scoping
- Ensuring scoping is done accurately
- Start process for tracking success of scoping
- Manage Infrastructure Systems
- Sales tracking system, time tracking system, accounting system, etc.
