Junior Salesforce Consultant

Position Summary

The Junior Salesforce Consultant is responsible for assisting on client engagements from the initial discovery to the implementation of solutions that support our customer’s goals and objectives.  This position works closely with engagement managers, practice leads and other consultants and solution architects to support the implementation of business solutions utilizing Salesforce.com and related applications on the Force.com platform and may perform various administrative and support functions in addition to working directly with clients.  In some cases, this person may work independently on client engagements under the direction of their practice lead.  This is a fast paced and challenging position that will lead to your helping design and implement best-in-class solutions using Salesforce and other Force.com applications.

Responsibilities

  • Work on multiple engagements in a supporting role to either the engagement manager or technical lead
  • Maintain 80% billable utilization on client projects
  • Work closely with clients to gather, analyze, prioritize, and refine business requirements
  • Create project documentation including use cases, usage scenarios, process flows, data dictionaries, requirements traceability matrices, design documents, and project schedules
  • Interface with engagement managers to assist in the develop of project strategy and design
  • Perform analysis of complex business information including business and technical requirements, process models, user stories, and process gaps
  • Help build a clear solution design strategy and action plan for each client engagement based on analysis of complex business requirements
  • Assist in implementing and configuring solution deliverables including the development of objects, fields, fieldsets, record types, page layouts, permission sets, approval processes, user roles, profiles, groups, sharing rules, workflows, and validation rules
  • Perform data cleansing, data uploads and data exports
  • Develop and create customized reports and dashboards
  • Help produce training materials and train business stakeholders on solution
  • Participate in weekly client stand-up meetings, business process reviews and design/discovery workshops

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years’ experience working as a Salesforce system admin with solid experience in declarative development on the Force.com platform
  • Salesforce Advanced Admin (211) certification preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce’s capabilities and limitations and can articulate those to clients and internal staff
  • Ability to conduct discovery meetings to elicit requirements
  • Strong oral, written and presentation skills especially to technical teams
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills in a rapidly changing environment
  • Excellent working knowledge of Excel, Visio, PowerPoint
  • Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Salesforce CPQ, Salesforce Communities, and HTML are a plus
