Maryland Hospital Association: A Case Study

Problem: Used spreadsheets to manage communications and outreach to multiple sources: member hospitals and health systems, committees founded by MHA, and the liaisons reporting hospitals’ needs back to MHA. Needed to track relationships with state legislators serving on healthcare focused committees. Required dynamic reporting.

Challenge: The need to revamp the current process to create one single system of record with robust reporting and optimized systems.

Solution: Buan implemented a customized Salesforce solution with many different objects and a VisualForce liaison report documenting information about each hospital.

Benefits/Results: MHA now has a single, streamlined and easily accessible system of record enabling the marketing team to more effectively manage outreach efforts, communications, direct email campaigns, mass emails and more.
