Transurban Group: A Case Study

Problem: Transurban is an international toll road developer which needed to track relationships with constituents and partners with a stake in the 495 and 395 corridors. They had attempted an earlier implementation with another partner who introduced them to salesforce.com without proper training.

Challenge: Teach the staff, with limited technological experience, how to import lists, manage relationships, manage mass email campaigns and track the quality of relationships.

Solution: Buan Consultants set up a structure to easily manage constituent relationships. A detailed set of instructions for importing Contacts and linking them to the appropriate records was provided. Hands on coaching in sending out targeted mass email communications helped the staff gain confidence in their ability to use the tool.

Benefits/Results: The client is able to use salesforce.com to meet their outreach needs.
