Problem: Sales Process was unorganized and needed to be streamlined. Client wasn’t able to display TCV/ACV on Quote template, Client had to create multiple quotes due to minimal differences, Client wanted to filter out products in Quote Line Editor. Quoting was going through Excel, causing room for error and multiple versions of Quotes. Users had multiple terms and conditions to choose from and could potentially select the incorrect terms. No approval processes or renewal process in place.

Solution: Leveraging Salesforce CPQ simplified quoting process. Created conditional printing on CPQ output documents for TCV/ACV. Buan created conditional printing to display dynamic language in Quote based on check boxes. Buan created product filters based on Product Family, Streamlined output document process and maintained integrity of output document by creating Quotes in Salesforce instead of Excel. Leveraged dynamic terms in Quote to display correct terms based on criteria, Configured Approval process allowed for discounting process to happen in Salesforce instead of manual review and Created auto-renewal process to create opportunities and Quotes based on criteria.

Benefits/Results: Standardized quote and sales process allowing users to make quicker and more formalized Quotes. Increased adoption with all users leveraging the Salesforce.com platform and all users using the same processes. Users have less likely user errors on currency selection, pricing calculations and output document creation now that the system calculates pricing and standardizes output documents. Automated approval process and renewal process saves time for all Users.
