Problem: The client needed to move away from a 10 year old legacy system which they can no longer update with new functionality and which was not user friendly. They did not have a sales funnel. They simply kept ad-hoc notes on their member relationships and tracked basic information about membership on a spreadsheet.
Challenge: The client was deploying a new website at the same time they were developing and rolling out the new Salesforce.com functionality to their users. The new website provides access to 30 online subscription services available to their members.
Solution: Buan designed a solution which automatically updates the assets for the member based on the products sold on the Opportunity. The Asset information is passed to the website and controls the member’s access to the appropriate subscription services.
Benefits/Results: The client can be assured that the members are viewing only those services that they have purchased.
